Woodstock: In Search of Utopia
Woodstock: In Search of Utopia, a film by Cambiz Khosravi, tells the story of Woodstock through the voices of original art colonists Eugene Ludins, Hannah Small, Eugenie Gershoy and Karl Fortess (interviews recorded in the late 1980s). It brings the story up to the present time through conver- sations with Ed Sanders, founder of The Fugs; John Sebastian, founder of the Lovin’ Spoonful; folksinger Happy Traum; and Michael Lang, co-creator of the Woodstock Festival of 1969—as well as young Woodstockers who are looking for their own definition of utopia. ©2012.
